Disclaimer: I saw it before but I was really young and forgot everything apart how confusing and slow it is (I probably wasn't even 1)
This is an 1982 sci-fi film based on the book "Do androids dream electric sheep?" by Phillip K. Dick.Directed by Ridley Scott written by Hampton Fancher and David Peoples produced by Micheal Deeley. The production was done by the Ladd Company and Warner Bros. It had a budget of 28,000,000 it has made 38,800,000 the film explores many themes the biggest are technology, slavery and identity. The film won awards for it's dramatic presentation, best cinematography, best set design, best costume and got a Czech lion award for best foreign film. The film follows a Blade Runner called Rick Deckard (A person who has to hunt down Replicants) who is looking for 6 replicants as 5 had committed mutiny and killed 12 people on their mining colony even though one was killed. One of the key scenes in the film is the climatic ending what is one of the best scenes in film and even though the lines are improvised they are amazing and so is the original lines (It has it's own Wikipedia page) there aren't really many films similar to this one could be the Alien film also from Ridley Scott as the crew didn't know that Ash is a android. After the film Ridley Scott went to make more films such as the Martian (2015), Gladiator (2000) and Prometheus (2012). Harrison Ford went on to star in more amazing films Regarding Henry (1991), The Fugitive (1993) and Cowboys and Aliens (2011). Unfortunately except for Daryl Hannah no other actors done anything as big as this. Daryl Hannah played Ellie Driver in Kill Bill vol.1 & 2. The film Blade Runner has many different versions there are about seven different versions of this one film. For this I shall be looking at performance and misc en scene.
In the climatic scene of the film we have Deckard chasing Batty. In this Deckard is hanging on his finger tips and just before he dies he is grabbed by Batty. For this very small bit I shall be talking about the performance. Batty says "Quite an experience to live in fear isn't it? That's what it is to be a slave." When Batty says this he has a sort of shocked and menacing look on his face, this would be to show that he's amazed that he has defeated Beckard even though he's going to die any second of old age of 3. It would also show the amazement that someone will have learned something form a replicant. After this and when he reaches down to pull Deckard up you can see the confusion on Deckard's face as he's just been saved. When Batty says his monologue Deckard clearly changes his feeling as it goes from confusion to understanding to learning to understanding. During the monolgue is being said Batty changes form looking menacing and arrogant to a sort of confused face as if he's forgetting something to then sounding as if he's on his death bed. To strengthen this his facial expression, body language and voice are in perfect harmony. Just before he says the words "Tears...in rain." just before he says this he coughs as if he's actually crying. When he then says after the words "Time...to die." he says them incredibly soft to truly connect with the audience with him throwing his head down showing he has died.
In the final scenes it is a fight between Batty and Deckard. For this I shall be talking about the misc en scene. During most of this Batty is nearly naked. This would be showing that he is having a few issues as he is looking absolutely mental and him aging has gotten allot worse. In another part when Deckard has gotten away he is seen pushing his fingers back into place while this goes on Batty has his hand clamping up showing that he is unable to stop himself from losing his fight not just with Deckard but actually with his life. To stop this he pushes a nail through his hand the two doing actions related with hands shows they have some sort of connection and that they are the same while being hugely different. During the climatic Batty is seen holding a dove very close. After Batty dies you can see the dove fly away. The dove is clearly representing Batty's life him holding the dove very close shows he doesn't want to let go of his life just yet. When the dove flys away it's clearly showing that he is dead, however the dove also appears as a symbol of hope as doves often are viewed like that. It could be telling the audience that Batty was a sign of hope the dark and depressing city had needed.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (No Spoilers)
First thing first. It's my birthday when I do this so tough tit and if you haven't seen it you either are going to or you're mentally ill. Correction there was a mentally ill guy in the cinema when I watched it so there's no excuse not to see it. When you go out and watch the film your life shall be changed forever and you may start crying out of how amazing and beautiful it is.
This is a sci-fi action film from last week in 2015. It was directed by JJ Abrams and also written by him with Lawrence Kasdan and Micheal Arndt. Produced by again JJ abrams, Bryan Burk and Kathleen Kennedy with the music being composed by John Williams. The film had been made by Lucas Art Films, Bad Robot and True North productions. The key cast are Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley and John Boyega. It had been given the budget of $200,000,000 and has made still counting how much (My guess is Bruce Wayne and Scrooge McDuck combined). It hasn't won any awards as it's not even a week since release. The narrative I am not allowed to say due to personal issues. Key scenes too many and also it would partly ruin the film for other people. Comparables in a quality sense nothing comes close in another sense the rest of the other Star Wars films. None of the people have gone on to make anything else as they are going to be making Episode VIII and Episode IX. For this I shall be looking at the sound and cinematography.
The sound in the film is ridiculously amazing it had been done by the outstanding John William. Every time you hear anything form of music you will want to cry out of how nostalgic and suiting it is for the film. However there is very little new music as it really doesn't need any it was mostly taken from the other films. Every piece of non dietetic sound will make your body go utterly mental as it's just great to listen to. The only issue what occurred was that my brother who I saw it with couldn't understand some of the performers as when we left he still didn't know who had what name and what it was.
The cinematography this needs no explanation every shot has been done perfectly. You can clearly see what they are trying to demonstrate in the film.
This is my favorite shot/section in the entire film don't worry it has been taken from the trailer I think if not then sorry bu this is another perspective from the trailer. To me it clearly shows the might of the First Order and the idea that the Empire/First Order are truly Nazis in space but actually done seriously and well (There are actually films about it e.g. Iron Sky). This is true for every shot as it has been masterfully done and well thought out. From the start you'll attempt to not go mental however as it goes on you'll start to accept that it looks truly beautiful.

Non-Stop
This is an action film from 2014 what has the themes of security, terrorism and mystery. It was directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. Written by John W. Richardson, Chris Roach and Ryan Engle. Produced by Alex Heineman, Andrew Rona and Joel Silver. The main cast is Liam Neeson, Julianne Moore and Scoot McNairy. The film had been given a budget of $50,000,000 and made $222,809,600. The film had won 0 awards and was nominated for best thriller. The film follows Bill Marks who is an US air marshal who has to get $150,000,000 into an off shore account if not then someone on the plane will die every 20 minutes. A film what is similar to this would be A walk among the tomb stones 2014 what has Liam Neeson trying to solve another crime. After this Liam Neeson had been in many more films these being the Lego Movie 2014, A million ways to die in the west 2014, Taken 3 2014 and more and some which haven't been released. Julianne Moore has been in the Hunger games Mocking Jay part 1&2 and other films. Scoot McNairy had starred in Gone girl other films what have been released and others what haven't such as Batman vs Super: Dawn of Justice (what currently looks confusing in a bad way). Jaume Collet-Serra had made Run all night 2015 what had also starred Liam Neeson and is currently making the shallows. For this is shall look at Misc en scene and performance.
For this is shall be talking about the performance. In one scene Liam Neeson is interrogating a teacher in the film called Tom. When he does this Tom starts to tense up showing that he doesn't wish to reveal any information. It tells the audience that Tom actually may know something to how people have been dying and who wants the money.
In another part Liam Neeson needs to get the doctor on the plane over to the cockpit. When he does this Liam Neeson and the doctor are speaking quietly to show the audience that what they are speaking of shouldn't be heard by the other passengers. Then Riley stands up and yells at Liam asking questions telling the audience that Riley wants everyone to know what is being said and the information to go public. When Riley follows Liam, Liam throws him to the wall and talks quietly so that Riley then learns that the information can't be said loudly.

Austin Powers International Man of Mystery
This is an comedy film from 1997 what has the themes of love, change and espionage. It was directed by Jay Roach produced by Demi Moore, Jenifer Todd, Suzanne and Mike Myers who also had written and starred in the film. The production companies involved were Capella International, Eric's Boy, KC Medien, Moving Pictures and New Line Cinema. It was given a budget of $16.5 million and made $67.7 million at the box office. It won awards for best movie villain, best dance sequence and best original screenplay. The film is about a British agent called Austin Powers who apart form saving the world form Dr.Evil is and 1960s swinger. One night when he attempts to stop Dr.Evil however Dr.Evil freezes himself to stop him Austin does the same and says that he should be unfrozen when Dr.Evil advance 30 years to 1997 and Dr.Evil and Austin return. For this is shall look at Misc en scene and sound.
In the film Dr.Evil and two of his advisers and helper are clear mockeries of James bond villains. Number 2 from Austin powers is meant to be Largo from the 1965 film "Thunderball", this can be easily seen form him wearing his signature eye patch. Frau Farbissina is clearly meant to be Rosa Klebb from "From Russia With Love" this can be seen form them both being an older woman from Russia who mostly wears gray suits. His helper is also meant to be Odd Job from "Goldfinger". This can be seen by them being large Asian looking men wearing a suit who throws pieces of clothing in this it is a show while in "Goldfinger" it's a hat. Dr.Evil is meant to be a Mockery of Ernst Stavro Blofeld from many different Bond films. We can tell this as they both are bald men with a scar across their face while having a white cat with them (however Dr.Evils loss it's fur during the un-freezing process).
Throughout the film sound is used in different ways. It is mostly used to constantly remind the audience that Austin is from the 1960s. In little transitions in the film there is seen to be a short musical segment when these appear the band is meant to resemble the Beatles. (unless you live under a rock) This is meant to be a reference to the 1960s where they dominated the music scene. In addition in these little bits no body in these short segments are from the 1990s the closest in Austin however these are to show what Austin is use to and shows the difference there is in 30 years.
