Spectre (2015)
For the record I can't say anything bad about Bond as he's my personal role model, don't care if he is a smoker, alcoholic, gambler, irresponsible, offensive and my favorite quality of his womanizing I absolutely love him.
This is a 2015 action film which looks at the themes of security, government and secret groups. The film film was directed by Sam Mendes, written by John Logan, Neil Purvis and Robert Wade and produced by Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson. The key members of the cast are Daniel Craig and Christoph Waltz. The film was given a budget of $245,000,000 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) and has made $200,000,000 (Though they should make another though it's a loss). It had won a golden globe for best son by Sam Smith and is nominated for an Oscar for the same award what it should win. The film follows James Bond as he goes around the world trying to uncover what Spectre is and destroy it meanwhile M tries to defend the British secret service. For this I shall be looking at the misc en scene and the music.
For this I'll be looking at the misc en scene. In one scene James Bond has tracked Mr.White down to the alps where he interrogates him. While he is doing this there's a chess set layed out onto the table with Mr.White playing white and Bond playing black. This is reminding the audience that this scruffy looking man is Mr.White and the reason bond is black is because black and bond both begin with B though it's mostly just default with bond. However it would be telling the audience that Spectre are always one step ahead of Bond this is because in chess white always go first meaning that Mr.White who was apart of Spectre are always one step ahead of Bond.
For this I'll be looking at music more specifically the intro song "Writing's on the wall" by Sam Smith. The song's title along would tell the audience that Spectre would of been clearly in front of Bond for a long time but he never noticed it. To support this later in the film when Blofeld tells Bond the reason why all of the previous Bond girls have died. It also uses words which are large such as storm and a million, the use of these words would be telling the audience that Spectre is incredibly massive.

Family Plot (1976)
Is anyone interested in seeing Download 2016? I got 24 tickets I really need to sell.
This is a 1976 mystery film which was directed and produced by Alfred Hitchcock and written by Ernest Lehman. The film has the themes of family, crime and jobs. The film had been given a budget by universal pictures of $4,500,000 and had made $13,200,000. The film stars Karen Black, Bruce Dern, Barbra Harris and William Devane. It had won an Edgar Allan Poe award for best film of the year. The film follows the story of couple who look for a man who no one knows as if they find him they'll be paid $10,000 however it takes them down a dark path. For this film I shall be looking at the editing and misc en scene.
For this I shall be looking at editing. In one part Blanche and George meant to meet with Joseph Maloney however Joesph has cut out their brakes meaning they go down the hill at a high speed. With having quick changing shots is meant to increase the tension of the film as it makes it fast pace. To also make the film fast paced the clips have been sped up to make it as if the car is going faster and faster. This would make the audience tense as there are so many close calls with crashing to an unfortunate death.
Often in Hitchcock's films he would have a "Mac Guffin" which is a object what would be critical to the characters but not to the audience. In this film it would be the tombstone. This piece of set would tell George allot meaning that the film can go on as without it the film would never of gotten off. This tells very little to the audience as they don't have any information accessible to them meaning they need to pay more attention which is what Hitchcock wanted.

Deadpool (2016) SPOILERS!!!! CAUSE THOUGH HOPEFULLY SOMEONE PAYS ATTENTION THIS TIME
This is a 2016 action/comedy/romance (I was forced to say romance) which has the themes of loyalty, love and social commentary. The film was directed by Tim Miller. The film was written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. The film was produced by Simon Kinberg, Lauren Shuler Dunner and Ryan Reynolds. The main stars of the film are Ryan Reynolds, Ed Skrien, Stefan Kapicic, Brianna Hildebrand, T.J Miller and Morena Baccarin. The film was funded by Fox and Marvel with a budget of $58,000,000 and has made $135,000,000 in it's opening week though it hasn't been a week. The film has won 0 awards as it hasn't been out for a week. The film follows the story of how Wade/Deadpool attempts to get revenge on Ajax who has disfigured him and has also kid naps his girlfriend. For this is I shall be looking at the performance and the editing.
This shall be looking at the editing of the film. In the opening credits the sequence is done in slow motion. The purpose of this is to show to the audience that this will be a dramatic and action filled film. However when this sequence happens very comic things are seen such as a wedgey, hello kitty and a poorly drawn image. To add to this the actual opening credits are not serious for example of this is it says "Written by the true heros of the film and Directed by an over payed tool." This is telling the audience straight from the start that this is definitely going to be comedic.
For this I shall be looking at the performance. Throughout the film we see the charter of Wade/Deadpool go through a variety of emotions. This goes from a clear sense of devastation when being told he has cancer however when he goes to see Colossus he is very up beat showing us that he has allot of diversity. Often when Deadpool talks to the audience talks to the audience breaking the fourth wall to clearly signify this he faces the camera addressing the audience.
Inglorious Basterds (2009) and Miracle at St.Maria (2008) compassion
Warning high amounts of bashing is approaching
Miracle at StMarina is a 2009 war film which has the themes of brotherhood, loyalty and culture. It was Directed by Spike Lee. Produced by Spike Lee, Luigi Munsini and Roberto Cicutto. The film stars Derek Luke, Michael Ealy, Laz Alonso and Omar Benson Miller. The film was funded by 40 Acres & a mule films with a budget of $45,000,000 and had made $7,000,000. The only award it had won was the Houston film critics society awards for the best original score. The film tells the story of four African-American soldiers who are in a Italian Village who face a few challenges while they are there. As a side note what is personal I really do not like this film and clearly others didn't and the theory of that some film critics are sublimely racist is jot viable as African-American critics felt this wasn't good enough to be in the top 5 best films of 2008.
Inglorious Basterds is a 2009 action film which has the themes film, war and spies. The film was written and Directed by Quentin Tarantino and produced by Lawrence Bender. The film stars Brad Pitt, Christopher Waltz, Melanie Laurent and Eli Roth. The film was funded by Weinstien company with a budget of $75,000,000 what had made $120,000,000. The film had won an Oscar for best supporting actor with Christopher Waltz. The film follows two different stories the Basterds who are a group of Nazi hunters and Shosanna who plans to kill all of the Nazis in her cinema.
The comparisons the film has are that it focuses largely one on a squad of soldiers who of a minority. In St.Anna it is the fact they are African Americans meanwhile in contrast in Basterds they mostly Jewish, mostly as Stiglitz was German wouldn't of been able to serve if he was Jewish. The thing the films have in common is that the characters are helped by a commanding nazi officer at near the end in Basterds Col. Hans Landa captures the two Americans and they stay in each others company until the end of the film. While in St.Anna it is only a brief encounter however he lets him go off free.
The differences the films have however are still present in Basterds the film has a far more comic outlook an example of this is confidence and charisma that Brad Pitt has in the actions they do. However in St.Anna the they view their situation in a different light where they seem nervous and afraid (leading to a boring film). In St.Anna they seem to argue between each other and have different opinions with each other however in Basterds they all seem to get along great and work very well together.
If you have just read this yes I really did not like St.Anna and it doesn't help I'm defending Basterds.

WJEC 2012 British and American film
Part A
Why are cinemas still important for both audience and producers?
I feel cinema is still important for both audience and producers as it apart from generating lots of money for both cinema and production studio creates an un-match-able experience. In addition it is also part of a culture which most people don't wish to see be diminished.
The reason that cinemas are important to producers is that it gives them a chance to use other films to there advantage. For example if they were creating a sci-fi film they would ask to have their trailer shown at other sci-fi films as it's being advertised to their target audience directly as it'd have more affect at a sci-fi film than a romance. This then would generate more profit for the film for the production company as it is being shown to those who would want to see something like that. From the audience point of view having an trailer shown to them when watching another film means that they are being told they would most likely like the film. This is an example of respeptive theory where it says that the audience don't know what they want and that the production studios know what we want.
Another reason that cinema helps the audiences is that many movies now are put onto DVD and Blu-Ray however having a cinema means that they can show the passion they have for the film. It also is a type of reward for showing this dedication as when going to see a film there you are given an experience as the image and sound can not be matched. With Producers releasing a film in a cinema means that more money can be made. This is because when a film is made they send it to cinemas which will then create a large profit then it'll be released on DVD which again will make even more money menaing that they have two points of large income.

Snatch (2000) No Spoilers
This is a 2000 crime and comedy film which has the themes of illegal goods, boxing and gypsies. It was written and directed by Guy Richie and produced by Matthew Vaughn. The films were funded by Columbia with a budget of £6,000,000 and had made £30,000,000. Key cast members are Benicio Del Toro, Dennis Farina, Vinne Jones, Brad Pitt, Rade Serbedzija, Jason Statham, Alan Ford, Mike Reid, Robbie Gee and Lennie James. Thye film had won a Empire award for Best British Director and Best British Actor with Vinne Jones. The film follows many different stories which are all linked together at different points however they all contain bad people and they will do something illegal. For this film I shall look at the cinematography and the editing.
In the opening titles scene we are introduced to the main characters of the film. In this we have many different but very interesting transitions. For example we have Cousin Avi looking at a diamond then he puts it into his safe on the right side of the screen then have Sol collect it. This obviously this couldn't happen as they are both in different countries however it has been cut so you get that impression it has happened. The audience would interpret this as being very connected and that everyone in the film will know who each other are.
Throughout the film the film often shows different characters from different angles mostly high and low. The best example would be of Brick Top as he is often seen form an low angle shot. This would be communicating to the audience that he is clearly someone who has allot of power and in addiction should not be messed with.
