For this is hall be looking at Misc en scene and Performance.

This part shall be looking at Misc en scene. Early on in the film Jerry is sitting up in first class and Dorthy is sitting in second class. To show that the two are in different classes you can tell the clothing of the other people in the classes as in Jerry's first most people have suits and dresses while the people of second are wearing more casual things and the people in first are also offered lots of champagne what often considered to be a luxury item. However the set piece what shows this the most is the curtain as it is separating the two. It's telling the audience that the two are are from two different worlds one what is filled with luxuries and another what isn't and is more real and down to earth.

At the biggest turning point in the film what really starts it off we have Jerry trying to hold on to one of his clients Rod Tidwell. To do this he is asked to say something "Show me the money." When he does this Rod asks him to yell it at the top of his voice. When this happens it very clearly and loudly showing the audience that he is desperate as you can see the strain on his face and how he has bended to his tune trying to maintain onto one his clients.
